New euro parts hauler (no 56k)

I am very happy with my new wagon. I must say, kids should not have 325i's, these things are pretty quick for a stock, affordable old car. It looks a little rough in the pics, but it's actually in beautiful shape, I would go as far as to say immaculate. everything feels very tight. the car handles great, way better than my 325e. don (clutterbucker) said the handling is comperable to his 325is, w/bilsteins, h&rs, and sways.
I've got bilstein sports, just need to find ground controls. And some wheels.

The car came with a supersprint cat back, k&n filter (they sound great!) and an optima red top battery. cd player is kinda out of place, I'm gonna put my kenwood in there tomorrow probably.

just picked it up in canada.

seat looks kinda dirty in pic, all seats are clean, just a camera effect. please excuse the v1 cord, I'll hardwire it soon. My 2.7 stroker will be going into this car, and I'm gonna put the 325i motor in the 325e and sell that.

Holy shit, you bought it! I was just wondering if anyone snapped it up. $7300CAD, right? What a steal!

Was it already converted to US spec?

          Awesome!

What did you have to do to get it registered in the US?

yea, I couldn't believe it was going so low. it's in amazing shape, tbelt was just done, new tires, plus it has the supersprint.

others are going for 15k CAD, i got this for less than half of that. wow.

soon as I find some ground controls it will be lowered. and I'm looking for some acs replicas w/the machined lip, might take a while though. haven't registered it here yet, I just took the plates off my eta and drove the touring around for a bit. I was told I had to take it to a dealership and get it certified, so I'll be doing that tomorrow.

Tourings are sweet! Too bad only the Canadians and lucky people like you got them in North America. I can't wait to see it with suspension!

We never got them. It's just easier to import European cars here.

Nice touring :D Love the tourings.

Question on how hard it was to import it.

There is a 89 524td in Ontario, that is beggin' me to buy it. It came from Germany a year ago and is registered in Ontario,. if I knew I could register it in KS i would definitely buy it any answer here would be appreciated, PM so I don't jack the thread.

                    Lovely touring though, dig it!

These pictures do the car no justice.

I'm still trying to figure out why your car doesn't make any noise going over bumps, around corners, or when accelerating. When I got over a bump or something there's an orchestra of squeaks in my car, and they all come from different places.

It's an awesome car, much better than it looks in the pictures.
