Is the only difference that they are black and have no sidemarkers? Couldn't you get almost the same effect by painting plastic bumpers that color and putting smoked sidemarkers?

Or actualy buying Euro trim...it is available.

Didn't you get the press release? Every government worker who works in the USDOT gets an e30 loaded with euro parts they took off imported cars ;)

I just found out last night that my e30 was bought in Europe. She was brought over and raped by USDOT, and then turned over to the man that brought her over. I was SOOO sad to find out she had those purdy bumpers.

Think you're pissed now? Wait till you find out you can't get ANY dealer recalls and you're basically viewed as a bastard child by all dealers. Funny, since our cars were built for german markets and THEN imported...at least I got to keep the purdy bumpers, though at the cost of stupid 2002 side markers carelessly slapped on there.
