    E30 Cabby - Delphin/Cardinal

    This my first E30 project '87 Cabby - 139k previous owner had 6 years of receipts...I have restored E21 - started the E21 Digest..owned E28 535is, E39 528i and E39 535i....decided to go back to BMW..still love the utility of Audi.

Just did the suspension upgrade Bilsteins, new control arms, clutch slave & master, US Ellipsoids, Rhino mats..waiting for my Scorpion exhaust from BavAuto...and just picked up these Kopi Alpina's ...I need spacers but don't know where to start.. 17x7.5 ET20 Kopi Alpinas 4 x 100 from a fellow member.....the front brake pads rub on the inside of the wheels....no mods..to the caliper, pads or rotors...what size spacer do I need for these?.

Can't see pics... How bad do they rub? 3-5mm should do it.

I have an assortement of spacers at the shop, stop by with a wheel and we can see which ones clear.

I can't bring the car without burning up the wheels, I can bring the wheel or take a pic..

what's the cost for the spacer?..do you have longer lugs?

Car looks great, very nice color combination!
Plastic bumper swap and a slight drop will make her a beauty!
You don't need longer bolts for 5mm spacers

I read the bumper swaps are pain especially the rear...I have been thinking about it.

all verts swap over to plastic bumpers no problem. they dont have the same rear arches as the early models. you are good to go!

                gorgeous car. congrats.

plastic swap on a vert is pretty easy

                    diving board vert

put on the new style valence

back bumper needs just a little bit of shaving but it's easy

Looks good. On a early model i would go with euro bumpers, and a drop.

euro bumpers are the best for early cabrios....but I am a little biased!!
