    A lot of old battery chargers are not maintenance free. Even some new ones aren't... It's not a good idea to hook battery chargers up overnight.

    i was going to use my late model one but it doesnt have some of the wires so it was just a wast of a day

    i know how to do all this stuff its really easy

    Yep. Unfortunately, the harness isn't "modular". IIRC, there is a main bundle of wires leading to the trunk on the drivers side....some of it splits off and leads to the sensors at the brakes. I'm balls deep in this right now, since my car is stripped for the M50 swap and I'm deleting everything I don't need along with completely rewiring the stereo system.

    You can change the harness or cut and splice part of it from a donor car; either way, you've got your work cut out for you. ;)
