    My eta's progression...

I have had this car for exactly one year today, spent a ton of time reading on the forums. I figured since it is about to undergo some more changes, I would post up it's progress in the last year.

UPDATED PICTURES ON PAGE 2, POST #21

The day after I bought it (can't find the before washing pics).

Fixed some damage, replaced front end with an early i setup.

The interior today. Added new shift knob, husco armrest and an IE short shift kit.

Did a plastic bumper swap. Painted my bottlecaps. Got a Christmas tree.

Fixed my AC to handle those nasty hot NC beach days.

That's what came out of most of the system. All brand new components and I'm nice and cool again. Then I mounted some Biturbo wheels and put a lip spoiler on. (Putter McGavin's car in the shot as well.)

The car didn't sit right so I did some work to the suspension. Shortened strut housings, stiffer setting on the Konis, new springs from Road Magnet.
This was a shot after my lunchbreak...

    And some more...

And now it's time to switch it up again. Cardinal red interior will be picked up in a week or two and I'll order a retrim kit. On top of that, I need to dig up some parts to finish these up...

I have the chrome windshield and rear glass trim. I still need to get a mounting kit, some random trim pieces, both fogs and the related brackets. Also in the market for a euro sport lip.

That's my cool story. Bro. Comments welcome. Questions fielded. Thanks for looking!

I will be selling the old bumpers with valance, fogs and lip as a kit I guess. I won't have the need for it and I really need to start saving up for an engine swap someday down the road. The rears need a little body work first. I wouldn't sell them unless they border on perfect.

My current black leather sport interior will be up for sale as well.

Edit: if you are interested, we can work out a trade seeing as you have the foglights I need if indeed that is your car in your avatar. :)

Thanks for the kind words. I should mention that I have only spent about $1200 on the car in total, including the original purchase price of $400. The plan when I bought it was that no single purchase or part should cost more than the price of the car. We've definately been strict on it and it's been even more fun than any other project I have had.

I didn't think those wheels fit an E30, love them.

They don't. That was a ton of research and a lot more work to do it safely.

                            E30 - 4x100, 57.1 CB, et20
                            Biturbo - 4x98, 58.6 CB, et8 rear 13 front
                            Birturo Si (mine) - 4x98, 58.6 CB, et0

Essentially there is a ridiculously thin aluminum hubcentric ring, followed by a custom made 78mm extended wobble bolt setup to allow for the 2mm PCD variation. It was obsurdly over-engineered but I refuse to compromise safety.
