Just a bunch of small stuff - shoulder seat belts, fog lights, sound system, steering wheel wrap, actually i'm trying to find the stuff to wrap around it that looks like a golf club handle, something similar to this-

and then yes to just restore stuff on it, and get it painted a classic benz color... i was thinking this color -

But i'm not sure exactly which color yet. Everyone's telling me to bag it, but i'm not going to as the suspension is really awesome, and i don't wanna fuck it up.

Just wondering, what are your plans for the car? I see you said it will be your daily, but other than that.. restoring it?

    Such a cool car..

    Nice pickup.

I bet parts are stupid expensive for that if you can even find them though.
The valve cover gasket was just put on, and it costed $8.00. The guy i bought it from is going to give me the contacts of a place that carries all the parts needed for them. The car also came with all the original manuals, and radio manuals and everything, with very detailed illustrations of everything single part in the entire car (breaks down the tranny, and everything too). I'll probably keep everything original as it actually moves quicker than i thought it would, once it's up to speed. The only thing i may change is i may swap in a newer 240D manual tranny, as the one in this one is auto, and i'd rather have a manual tranny. I'll keep y'all posted with new pictures once the camera can get charged up!

    Zach

    Wow, amazing.

I love old MB diesel cars.. I have a 1985 300sd, and that thing is a beast! Can't seem to kill it.

    Good find!

Welp, i got it - going back to tomorrow to bring it home, the diesel ran out whilst idling in the dark, so i'll be back there tomorrow to get it up and going... Will make a great daily from what i can tell!

edit: Price i got it for was $1,500.00 runs and drives well from what i can tell so far.
