I see what your going for. Unfortunately I don't think it really works on these cars like it does on air cooled vw's.

Other than that, part of the reason some stanceworks cars can pull the look off is that the rest of the car is usually very well taken care of. And the wheels are usually very nice. Neither of which is the case with this car.

To each his own, but I think you need to clean up the car a little bit before you worry about how low you are.

Even cutting the whole pinch down to the inner fender only nets you another half inch, theres still just not much room in the front fenders.

          And the rear shock question?

Sorry Nick, but I have to agree with this fellow here.

The exhaust is the only thing that is not taken care of, and you cant even see it unless you look under the car. I just re-painted the car a couple months ago... and the wheels are bbs?
But yea, stanceworks cars are way better than my piece of shit, thats for sure. In fact, i probably have one of the ugliest cars on r3v.

wheels are the only thing the car needs. change the wheels and everyone will love it. theres a certain red m3 with ssr's just as low as you on this forum that everyone is on the nuts of... just sayin

I think everyone thinks that you kinda hacked up the car to get it to sit that low. I also think that people aren't to fond of the whole uber tuck on 17s. some 15s would look real good with your ride height. imo

I still don't understand how you say you have usable travel up front?
You would of smashed your lip if so anyways.

I like it for what it is and what you're trying to do. But some different wheels will make it look more proper in my opinion.
Right now, it sorta looks like you have a shot suspension.

                    I'd love to see updates.

I don't think you need to change the wheels, I just think they need to be stripped and refinished in something other than that awful textured black.

i think some 15" gold center enkei style 92's would be beter on this car.

First, going that low on a street car that isn't on bags is not functional in my opinion.

Second while that look works for pro stock cars with big fatties and tubbed wheel wells it is not a look for our cars again my opinion.

And I have to agree tho the rims are ok they don't work on your car if keeping the stance, covering any part of the rim just looses appeal for me. Put some smaller dia rims and some spacers and it would look much better.

what isn't clean about his car? hardly a ding on it, fresh paint, the wheels aren't even scratched.. just has some stuff on the wheels he has to wash off. I'm not seeing what you're talking about here.

my opinion differs from yours too, to me, how a car sits is more important than the condition of the rest. I actually lowered my car before it even ran. couldn't stand the sight of it. 8)
