Which one of those cars? None of them are really that low... i only see one of them barely tucking tire. Also having a big front lip does not make the car lower, and all 3 of those have big lips plus a little extra. Im not sure what you mean?

              Really?

              -Painted I lip
              -White paint/stains on rockers
              -Tint
              -Scratched trim
              -Wheel offsets
              -Exhaust
              -CV boots
              -Chipping paint on your wheels
              -Red calipers
              -Windsheild wiper
              -Rear valence

But if that is your idea of how a E30 should be then good for you.

Im not sure why a painted i lip is ghetto? or tint or red calipers or monoblade? My trim and rockers are fine, no paint stains anywhere, and yes i have a rear valence thanks for noticing. Im not worried about my exhaust, cause it drags on the ground anyways, but you got me on the cv boots. Those are ghetto.

But im sure your car is perfect, right?

Oh yes, and i forgot, whats wrong with my wheels? are they chipping? Last time i checked the powdercoating looked perfect. Maybe what your seeing is some wetsanding residue that i have yet to wash off. Same with the rockers and trim.

So a car that is ok with you can't have any of these items? Because pretty soon, my car is also going to have red calipers and a light tint, and my lip is already painted.

But if that isn't your idea of how a E30 should be good, then too fucking bad for you. It's not your car. You and your list of "acceptable and not acceptable" items for an E30 can get bent. And the same goes for the rest of the self-proclaimed "what's ok on an E30" police in this thread.

I really just think it's the style of wheel that's ruining it for you. The flat face of the CV's just doesn't flow well with the car and accentuates your bad offsets.

See, now thats a valid opinion, thank you.

I agree, my offsets are horrible, but there is nothing i can do about it.

Yes, that would be the problem: you don't understand what he means.
Those cars are Sport Evo M3s in racing trim. In that configuration or previous equivalent onesthey had a win percentage which, I believe, still remains unmatched. BMW ran them as works cars from 1987 to 1991 and that is a very significant portion of why an M3 is considered an M3 and a BMW is considered the way it is today.
The point is, if there were any need to go any lower, those cars would be lower. They are not.
So your car is lowered for looks, to the obvious detriment of function. And as such, posted on a public forum, it's subject to be judged on looks alone. On that basis, I concur with the previous poster: it looks ridiculous on top of being undeniably ruined functionally. If you like it, more power to you, but by posting on a forum you did invite opinions. This is mine.
