    1990 325I

Been reading the website for a while, seems to be the only one with decent rides on it.

Anyway, here is my bucket of crap. 1990 325I lowered on bilstein sports and eibachs. Has 180km, runs like champ just needs some TLC.

Have 3 mods planned for it: IS front lip, Leather IS interior in black, Digitalwave's rims (don't know wtf they are called).

    Welcome to the board

We have the exact same car, except mine's a 1991

Oh, and Digitalwave's rims are M5 throwing star replicas

I've also been keeping an eye out on your e30 as well. Looks awesome and glad to see the motor in. I wish i had the time to pull mine out for a few fresh seals, and a good old cleaning.

As far as your fog lights go, did you paint over the lens, or did you put that yellow film? I want yellow fogs, just not sure which route to take.

What's wrong with the pass side front fender? Looks like a nice starting point though.

The previous owner hit a fence on that side and dented up the fender. The damage was minimal so he went on to find an OEM replacement fender from a junk yard...he found a black one, but the car was older (hence why the paint is dull).

I have to repaint the whole car, i am looking for black doors actually since mine are rusting.

So far i've done the following:

            - regular oil changes
            - drain and fill tranny fluid
            - drain and fill diff fluid
            - new air filter
            - new plugs
            - new fuel filter
            - cleaned out intake manifold
            - aligned the lifters
            - aligned all 4 wheels
            - balanced all wheels

However i still need 2 front control arms, U joint (steering), and tie rod ends in order for the car to be mechanically sound.

BTW, can somebody photoschop the throwing star wheels on my car? Or maybe post a black E30 with those wheels. I want them polished.

Very nice starting point. Just keep fixing stuff on your list there and you will have a nice car. First take car of the rust though. That can end the cars life and value really quick. Looking good and it seems like its in good hands now. :D

                  Thanks :)

My first concern is getting the mechanical stuff out of the way...then i want to do the body and then i want to get my hands on IX sedan leather seats with the rear headrests along with a IS lip, and i will do the rims last.

In a couple of weeks I'll post some of a dark blue cabrio with them. I just bought the only known set for sale.

They are hard to come by. Good luck finding a set.

Nice start on the car - lowered first then wheels next. You are going in the right order!

And fix that icky roundel on the back. I have a spare if you want to buy it.

How much did you pay for them, what's the condition? Did they come with rubber? If yes, how much thread?

These wheels are probably the nicest flowing wheels for an E30, 16" is the perfect size IMO.

Everybody has a selling point, if you really want you could make an offer on my rims. And don't ask me how much I want for them.

I should sell mine since I pretty much leave the track wheels on all the time now. Once I pick up my 540i then my car will be in the garage except track days with the t-stars stacked in a pile in the corner.
