Car of the month - August 2010

Sorry for the delay, But never heard back from the one who was for Aug. And a big thanks to constructor for replying back so quick for this months COTM. So here you guys go, a very clean and sexy vert! I know im in envy!!!

    Factory options: LSD, heated seats

    Color: Alpine White

    Interior color: Cardinal Red

Engine modifications: Dinan chip installed in 1992

Exhaust: BavAuto long tube headers, Stromung exhaust

Transmission: Stock 5spd, UUC short shift kit

    Differential: Stock 3.73 lsd

Suspension: Ground Control coilovers, Bilstein Sports, Suspension Techniques sways, GC camber/caster plates, E30 M3 offset control arm bushings, Turner aluminum rear shock mounts

    Wheels: BBS RS003 16x7 et25

Exterior modifications: Euro bumpers, Euro front valence, fog light blanks

Interior modifications: Momo Monte Carlo steering wheel, Alpine head unit, Boston Acoustics pro line speakers, 12" Solobaric Kicker, Rockford Fosgate amp

    Story behind the car:

I am the original owner of this car. I did the Dinan chip, the stereo, and a set of BBS RZ378's between 1992 and 1993. I dreamed of RS's, a Dinan suspension, and an M3 body conversion (hated the diving boards) back then, but couldn't afford them.

I babied the car for 17,000 miles and then gave it to my dad in 1996 when I had no where to keep it.

I finally got it back in the fall of 2007 with 37,500 miles on it and began cleaning it up and making it mine.

RS003's are now sold, E30 M3 5-lug purchased, and new wheels in store for next year. Then H4/H1 headlights and third brake light delete. That should do for a little bit.

I said it once; I'll say it again. That is the best looking e30 convertible in the country. Another well deserved choice for Car of the Month.
      Congratulations to constructor.

I bet that Stromung sounds amazing. I've always thought they were one of the best sounding exhausts.

I concur that this is a fantastic choice for COTM.
