this could be one of the best mods i've done to the car. it's just the right size. Now i just need to find an mtech deadpedal and finish my harness bar up...

Very nice upgrade. I am assuming this is the smaller diameter MTech 2, ya?

Would you mind taking a pic of the mtech 1 held in front of it to compare the size difference?

if thats the smaller size wheel, then I am jealous. i'm still looking for one, so if anyone has one for sale...i'd take it.

The funny thing is when I saw the first picture I was wondering why you didn't have an M Tech II. Looks good.

Looks pretty damn sweet, Ted! Give me a call if you want to work on your harness bar today.

                  <<<-- Jealous.

Looks great! What does that plaque represent?

And what is the silver ring around the bottom of the shift knob? I've seen a knob similar to that with a metal in the bottom in the new BMW accesories catalogue (listed for the e46s), but they look quite a bit diff.

It's a factory e30 lighted shift knob - very rare.

thanks guys, the knob as ken said is a factory e30 illuminated piece. The dash plaque says "BMW Motorsport International - Limited Edition" and is out of an e36 LWT. The Wheel is the 370 version, which is smaller than the stock m3 wheel, but not too small. IMO, it's the perfect size. I didn't know there was a 350 available, but that would be close to the sparco wheel i had, and that was pretty damn small...

there is no such thing as a 350mm mtech 2 wheel.. the sizes are 370mm (E30) and 385mm (E34).

The M-Tech II wheel automatically improves any E30's interior, it just looks so damn good. I love mine, I won't ever part with it.
