    Ooops, Thanks EJ

Thanks for the skid plate EJ. The price was excellent and the product is amazing. Installed it the other week and it has already saved my pan from sure death. This oil pan is from a November '09 incident. Yes, it's ugly, and no, I won't go into details.

Are the raceskids plates the ones everyone likes because you can jack the car from them?

No that is the peerless plate. it takes a lot longer to install and includes welding.

These plates are much easier to install if you have little mechanical experience. And unless you hit a rail road track at 70 (or whatever that weird story peerless tried to start on here) these plates will hold up to just about anything. I believe almost all the PRO3 cars are running them now as well.

You actually can jack it up from these plates! :p
I've done so plenty of times to mess around with suspension settings.
                  It won't bind/bend anything.

i really want a plate soon, but from what i've read ^he is right, you can jack the car up from the plate. he also made a brace that bolts on to something that gives it extra support. the brace makes it the same as the peerless plate except you dont have to weld!

                      **edit**

i just checked his site and i dont see the brace, but i remember him testing some sort of brace (not the X-brace) and seeing a picture of it somewhere.
