205/45's wont look right since the guards have been pulled. Not to mention the front splitter is already at 92mm which is 8mm lower than the legal height in Australia. And it only clears my driveway by about 1mm :(
If I could get out I probably would be running 215/45's. But we'll see how things turn out.

I am in the process of modifying a 1990 318is and just put 215/45/15's with 16x8's on it. Not sure how it will look once lowered, as the coil overs only arrived yesterday. It's a daily so I have no interest in rubbing.

I've not seen your car around before.

225/45/16 is the correct sizing, doesn't throw off your speedo. Love the beefy look!

Speedo is actually spot on with current sizing :). And 225/45 wont fit on the front, and I don't beleive that we can get a suitable replacement over here in Aus. I was origonally looking to go 225/45 all around but now I'm glad I didn't because they wouldnt of worked very well up front.

I love those wheels. I want them in silver on my next E30 but they are impossible to find in silver.

Easiest way is to just buy some wheels and get them powdercoated. Over here its $40AU Per wheel to get powdercoated in whatever colour. Its what I had planned if the black on black didn't turn out good.
