Lol. I didn't know what the heck you were talking about. Yeah, I am an old Boy Scout. Always be prepared mindset. I don't carry a wallet, so I keep it in my side pocket, and the Maglight is just an essential. I suppose I could keep them both elsewhere, but that works for me. ;)

Since Bobby and I live close by (and I like to take credit for getting him into the BMW 'thing' we all have) I get the opportunity to see, work, and drive this car regularly. I know I have said it before, and I will say it again-I have seen a fair amount of E30's in the past few years, and I can honestly say that Bobby's car is one of the most perfect E30's that there is anywhere. A bold statement, yes-but I would put money on it.

As an example-yesterday I went to the BMW 3 Across America event in New Orleans (I was going to help Bobby do this yesterday, but decided to go to this event instead). BMW brings some of their Heritage Collection 3 series cars to the event, and these are normally on display at the BMW Museum in SC. On hand they had a '87 325is, all original with 58k miles. The only thing that car had on Bobby's were less tiny rock pecks on the front end-but Bobby's is a daily driver with almost twice the mileage so it is to be expected. BMW could take Bob's car and put the stock wheels, suspension, and a few other stock pieces back on and it would be worthy of their museum-without a doubt.

Oh yeah-looks like you did a great job! Definite improvement with the new fogs and painted spoiler clips.

Thanks. What wheels tho? Always been a fan of the Alpinas. Considered Kopis in the past as well. Won't do the Ronals, had those. So, what wheel would you recommend?

Get some REAL Alpinas! You can get them for cheaper than Kopis if you import them yourself. I have seen them sell for 400-600 EU on Ebay.de Shipping should be about 250-300 dollars. Totally worth it IMO
