Looks great Josh, let me know how much those M Coupe mats are, I need to get some floormats myself, I don't have any. Anyone asking about the window switches didn't see the thread I guess, check the interior forum guys.

Oh ya, 84-87 cars had the breaker in the dash, 88-91's had it in the console, FYI :)

Then you have a 4 door probably and have a window lock button and a breaker

are the e36 window switches pretty much a plug and play install? or do u have to mess with the wiring?

nice improvements. I really don't like tan interiors but your seats are in decent shape.

Do you have a 'before' pic as a reference?

New floormats will defenetely clean up the interior, make sure to post more pics soon.

Hey, just a couple tips on the needle thing.

First, don't forget to do the MPG gauge. It is kinda hidden when not in use, so be sure to dig it out and hit it too.

Now, the second thing is preference, but I found that trying to paint the damn needles was a pita, and I was just mucking them up. I wound up trying to remove the paint(got most of it) and just using a red 'Sharpie' to do it. It was much smoother and came out much better with the Sharpie. Your call either way.

I actually am not going to bother with the MPG gauge, I removed the needle and will either be replacing the face with just a flat black insert, or maybe find a way to put something else there. The MPG is another feature I just find to be pointless, it's not even remotely accurate, and it's kind of annoying watching it bounce back and forth when I step on and let off the gas.

What I plan to do with the needles is what Jordan just did, and use red pinstripe. This way if I fuck up, it comes off easily, and it can always be removed later.

I find it to be fairly accurate when cruising at steady speeds. Although it is pretty worthless unless on the freeway.

the mpg gauge is actually very accurate, providing that your injectors are all flowing correctly.
Josh, no offense, but you seem to dub lots of things 'useless features,' I would hardly call the circuit breaker for the windows useless, though I do agree that it is an eyesore (mine is functional but hidden under the center console). I'd suggest thinking more before taking all of these seemingly useless parts out from your car..

Maybe you're right Bryson, I've just never found myself looking at the MPG guage for any kind of reference, and to be perfectly honest, the needle on the MPG gauge was bent on the 325i tach when it arrived, so I just removed it. As far as the circuit breaker goes, maybe I'll do the same as you, but hide it in another area. Mine is really faded, and is just this big grey spot in the heater panel.
