looks nice..... more photos of the whole car
Well I'm sure new ones will be a tad bit cleaner, however, I only paid $130 for mine including the tires.
We used the SuperClean as a solvent in the seat mounting holes to get the grime out before we re-tapped them.
You need to dye your knee bolster Ted, looks like faded sheeet.
indeed... i've been plannin on buyin a new one from the dealer, they aren't that expensive. I just bought a bunch of new trim pieces that should be here tomorrow for interior/exterior/engine bay... maybe next month. I'm torn right now, it's moving away from a street car and twoards a track car, but at the same time i keep spending time and money on restoration...
re you getting a roll bar? Using harnesses without one is a good way to crush your spine in a rollover. Looks good though
thats why he installed a harness bar..... Therfore in an accident the pivot point no longer pull you straight down but will pull you back... which does not compress your spine.
That is fine, but in the event of a rollover and crushed roof, there is no where to escape to. 3point belts allow you to be smashed forward and bent at the hip, If you are using a harness without roll protection you can get pretty screwed.

exactly, the harnesses do a good job of holding you directly in the seat, no sliding or moving around (which is what you want) so in a roll over, you get squished since you can't move sideways in your seat like the stock belts allow.
Limit your time wearing the harnesses to the track, besides as said above, it's a PITA to wear them on the street. you may think you look cool until you try and reach to adjust the radio ;)
