Finally finished my Harness bar and seat bracket instal. Thanks to Ken for helpin me out again. This project was a bit of a PITA, but in the end it's worth it.
    Everything out:

    bar partially in

    cleaned with stuff out

    Bar installed

    finished product

It makes a lot of difference, hopefully it'll help at the auto-x this weekend. Finally a shot of Ken's weaves - how f'in clean are they

For a guy of Ted's stature (6'4") probably. However, I (6'0" 165) could probably slide under the bar without a great deal of contortion.

Are you getting a roll bar? Using harnesses without one is a good way to crush your spine in a rollover. Looks good though :P

thats why he installed a harness bar..... Therfore in an accident the pivot point no longer pull you straight down but will pull you back... which does not compress your spine.

                correct

the mats are out of an m coupe... pretty reasonable from the dealer - i believe they were about $48.00 for the pair. I can post a p/n if people are interested.

looks like a speedware or sparco.

nice seats. recaro's are money, but you get what you pay for.

fia or sfi rating on the belts?

Speedware Motorsports equips the auto racing industry with Arai Helmets, Bell, Hans, Sparco, Alpinestars auto race gear and equipment.

harness is FIA approved. also, Schroth now makes Sparco harnesses. The bar is speedware, as ken noted, and it was the last of the stainless ones. They are now all powder coated.
82-11-1-470-372 is the part number for the two front mats. With my CCA discount, they came to 72.25, without they are like 88. It is for the front two only. They fit really well, and seem to be made out of a better material than the stock ones.
