haha, right on man. i need to spend the weekend down there and get to know you all a little better. seems like the ATL scene (for the most part) is amazing from what Gregg has told me -
good luck, dude.
you're in good hands with bryson and solo motorsports.
this is sin bar on vortex, btw.

Damn dude, sorry to hear about the condition of the car. PO is a dickless waffleswaffleswaffleswafflesbag for not telling you about the stuff that was wrong, especially a fucking hole in the block.
But good to hear you're getting her all fixed up :) The stance and wheels are amazing, this car deserves to run as good as it looks!Leave a comment:

I would have just paid a little extra $, dropped in a 24v, and called it done.Leave a comment:

I saw this car for sale many times via craigslist and whatnot. I was wondering why it didn't sell quicker than this. Now I know why.
Good to see you made the swap to e30. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.Leave a comment:

its interesting the PO hasnt stepped up to save face. just further proves my point hes a deceitful/lying/shady motherfucker.
solo motorsports called a little bit ago and sourced me a low mileage m42 so the car should be ready next weekend. costing a bit more than i expected (my own assumption/fault. solo has cut costs and hooked it up where possible).
just a crazy mess.Leave a comment:

Hopefully you get everything sorted out in time for H20, I want to see this car in person. Good Luck!Leave a comment:

it was going to get swapped in the spring regardless, just didnt expect it this soon.
the verdict is a new m42, possible motor mounts, valve/oil pan gaskets, new axles, exhaust fixed and power steering fixed. Solo Motorsports in ATL is doing all the work.
they said the trans shifts like butter though :up:Leave a comment:

you're right, it is a tough situation and i agree with what you're saying.
its just shady. like i said, i understand the "buy as is" situation so yes, the blame isnt fully on the seller. just a matter of disclosing situations with the car is all im saying. im not trying to sling mud around, but just inform people. i tried texting/calling the seller last night but with no response which i expected. so it is what it is.
ive taken everything in stride and as ive previously stated, its going to get worked out one way or the other.Leave a comment:

seems like a tough situation.
i guess i kind of question why it's necessary to turn it into an episode of jerry springer rather than privately dealing with the seller and mechanic to get things resolved. the way you've chosen to handle it doesn't make you look like an innocent victim, moreso just an under-informed one.
i can sympathize with you in that it's a huge pain in the ass, but i don't really know all the sides of the story, so it's hard for me to grab a pitchfork and join your crusade.
good luck getting things resolved, e30s are great cars. you'll love it once it's dialed in.Leave a comment:
