That's a gorgeous car. I'd love to find a touring even remotely as nice as that.

          Hello guys

Borrowed a polishing kit off a mate to do the wheel lips.
To be fair they need more time and effort putting in as I only spent around an hour per rim.
Thinking about maybe Black centres now.
Anyway gave it a quick wash and took some pics on my phone to show of my efforts(or lack of)...

God I love tourings. Should look great once it's lowered. I almost agree about painting the lip/skirts to match, the one you found looks great with them black though too.

Redone the headlights tonight in light smoke Laminex, looks loads better than the dark stuff did.
Also picked up a pair of rear beam bushes from the dealer at weekend and ive got a pair of almost new E46 rear topmounts from my old E36,might try and fit that lot at weekend.
Next up is some number plates. Was going to go for pressed ones but think ill just get them from BMW as they are cheaper than anywhere :D

Anyway quick wash for a few pics of the lights....

If were voting, I definitely vote for silver centers. But, it's your car, do whatever makes you happy.

Picked up a replacement steering wheel.
Momo V36.Measures approx 350mm so ideal size and is nice and chunky too.
Just got to pick a new badge up for the centre.

]Spent yesterday putting new rear beam bushes in.
One was totally gone while the other side looked relatively new.
Anyway about 4hrs to do boths sides so was pretty chuffed with that.
Not got round to replacing the topmounts yet as I couldnt be arsed pulling the side panels out of the boot so ill do them one day in the week.
Drives loads better now though,no more wobbly backend or knocking.

Been thinking about turbo`s too after reading Gunni`s thread on the subject.
Seems pretty straightforward to do so going to do a bit more research and maybe take the plunge.
Nothing too drastic, just some new territory for me to explore :D

Anyway couple of pics after doing the reart bushes...

definately not black centers, it causes the As to loose all the character of the spokes IMO.

I like polish too, so im biased
