New to E30's and Atlanta, GA

    Hey everybody,

I just moved out here to Atlanta from socal for school. With me I brought a 1991 318i sedan. I bought this car about 2 weeks before I drove out here which was around mid august (time flies). I never really got around to post the first pics of her up so I figured now was a good a time as any. I had been looking for an e30 all summer and finally came upon this one right around town. It had 135,xxx on the odometer with some pretty pristine interior. I ended up paying $3200 for her, had to fix the valve cover gasket, oil filter housing gasket, and replace the radiator for preventative sake. In the end, she made it just fine across the desert and into the south (the alternator did go out in OKC but I cant blame her for that). All in all, the experience just made me love E30's and the M42 to death and has got my brain going on what I want to do to her (any opinions are welcome!).

I know the E30 following in socal is rather large and I have yet to be exposed to it fully, so I was wondering what functions you guys got going on in ATL?

Also, since I am currently living in a dorm room and have a lack of equipment, I wont have the luxury to do much hands on stuff with the car. So, if anyone can recommend a good mechanic in the area it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Damn, almost fell out of my chair when i saw all those creatures! thanks for the reality check though dominic, its a bitch but appreciated. the go karting looks dope, how often to yall do that?

Im currently going to morehouse college down in west end and living on campus but im planning on getting out of here and finding a place come january. Diggin the city so far though, except for those damn one way roads in the city and multiple peachtree streets.

Its definitely a change from socal.
