There is no way that is enough tire. My mcoupe can hardly put down 240hp with 255's in the rear, let alone putting down 333 with 215's (front are 205 I can see in the pic). It's amazing but I bet traction is pretty limited.

He said traction wasn't an issue at all with his new tires, but was running a lower ratio diff. Just swapped in a 3.73 right before the shoot and he could break them loose then.Comment

nah .. im running 225's (on 8.5inch rim) with new tires @ 321bhp and it works but at full noise youre braking traction thats on a 3:15 euro m-coupe diff on a ZF 5spd box.
215 will work ok in the dry but it means you cant really use that power properly when you want to go hard. It mean in the corners the car will be un-settled and nervous.
Still mad respect for the build its done very cleanly. Oh and nice photos for the guy that took em.

From the little I know, the S54 project's main headaches had to do with the wiring. Basically the car was rewired one strand at a time.Comment
