This is just awesome! As far as the roof goes who cares, that's what is required to properly chop a roof as get it to line back up. Personally if you just do the same treatment to the roof as the rest of the car it would look finished.
Great job! also just watched your video on the e36, loved it, especially when you put the car sideways pulling into the road!
