Reunited and It Feels So Good...

    Hello r3v,

About 3 weeks ago now, a lady decided to back into my 318i while it was parked in the lot outside where I work. Thankfully, she came in and told me about it or else I would've killed someone. The hood and quarter panel were pushed in somewhat, and apparently I'm lucky my car wasn't deemed totaled. While the car was in the shop I decided to just bite the bullet and get a full re-spray and couldn't be happier. Just got my car back from the shop yesterday, so I decided today would be a good day to take some photos.

I got it re-sprayed the original Brilliantrot and decided to have them mount the E28 M-tech I wing while I had it there. I will be getting euro trim soon, as well as shadowlining the car.

I'm just undecided as to what kind of motor work I want to do to the car. Still debating between a 24v swap or doing something a little more unique with the M42 (dbilas ITB's, etc.)

Let me know what you guys think. I also have some more "extreme" edits for those interested. Thanks

    -Kyle

Very, very nice. Just too bad it had to take a whack to get it done...

Stick with the m42 and go boost, that's what I'm doing. I'm loving your car to death. Any interior pics?

What I'm hoping for, regardless of what route I take, is ~280whp.

I was almost set on a 24v swap, but then after reading about the S/C M42 from the latest issue of PBMW, it got me re-thinking how I want to approach it.

Anyway, I don't have any full interior shots as of right now. I plan on installing my Kenwood deck this weekend and will probably take some then. As of now, the only interior mods I have are an M-tech I wheel, ZHP knob, and Recaro trophy front seats. Ignore the shift boot in the photo, I will be changing it shortly.

I was talking to some guy over on youtube who has a turbo 318i. He has a setup that he runs low 12's with. I'm guessing that's about 300whp. Very doable. All you need is to lower the compression a bit. What kind of kenwood are you going with? I'm still debating on which headunit to get, too many choices.
