Some pics from today. My silver 325ix, e46 m3....and went to a local car show today where my uncle brought out two of his cars, one of which that hasn't seen daylight since the 90s....a 1986 Camaro Z28 w 4k original miles. Hasn't even been washed yet lol

Also my boy came by w his Audi A3 that I modded for him ;). We mounted up his summer RS6 wheels

Just turned over 103k on my E46...she's getting up there!

DD'ing this car, esp thru the rough winters is taking a toll =( its not going to stop me from driving her tho

Rust bubbles surfacing on the sunroof, battery/rear valence, on the edges of the inside pass door & tried to grind down as much rust off the rear diff.

Treated all the areas w/ POR-15 over the wkend + silver touch up paint

got a little OCD on my E46 M3 as well, getting rid of any traces of rust.

Replaced the upper pin/bolts with new OEM ones for $8/piece, and grinded down the rust on the lower female latches with a dremel/wire brush bit & used silver touch up paint to coat it.

Also realigned the hood so it sat flush against the fenders. The hood always looked propped open prior to this.

also did the following:
-replaced the broken tab fuse box cover w/ a new OEM one
-replaced the rusty hood bolts w/ new OEM ones
-replaced the blown front Premium sound speaker w/ a used one
-POR-15'd the battery tray and misc cancer spots & touched everything up as best i could
-replaced the Hirschmann power antenna (under warranty w/ ECS) with a replacement one they sent me

Btw Duplicolor Hyundai Bright Silver touch up paint from pep boys is a dead on match to anyone who has a Sterling Silver cAr FYI

ordered a red wire cupholder. Should be a nice contrast to the interior. Have some red accents on my car (red strut bar, red accents on my roof rack & wipers)....so I think it will look good.

Finally got around to replacing my houndstooth door card w/ a minty one i got from a R3v member. The old one was ripped up on the bottom (which i had stitched up myself), and the backside holding the clips were torn out....so it wasn't holding the card snug to the door.

Also painted Frank88iX's & my rear battery cover since it had all these superficial white scratches.
