absolutely, i actually didnt know i was shuffle steering until my final session of my last day ( i watched my video) so i worked on it that session, next driving event, that's going to be my main focus.
shuffle steering = not keeping your hands locked in one place on the wheel, on that track for sure its definately unnecessary to move your hands on the wheel.
im actually not driving it, too late... but i will be up there from Sunday the 5th (afternoon) until Tuesday the 7th (night) for a club race (helping out).
As far as in car cam...
I have the cruise cam headrest mount rigged to attach to my roll bar, the autopower has an extra little strip, and i clamped the mount to that, its a higher view so you see more track. Im using a general sony miniDV camera with a wide angle lense, that's what gives the broad view. its an awesome set up.
Wow, that guy in the yellow E36 was a dick. He braked in front of you and then punched it....leaving you in the dust. I would have gave him the finger instead of waving when passing him.
he had to brake, we were both coming up on a lotus elise, he couldnt pass until the lotus gave him a wave by, so he slowed down, got the wave by and gunned it, the lotus didnt have time right away to give a second wave by to me, so i had to stay back until the next straight. the wide angle lense distorts it, but i was right on the m3's ass, so he let me pass. he did everything right...
my car was getting up to 128 ish in the back straight. i got a ride with an instructor in a new s4, he was pushing 135... not a huge difference. out of three tracks i've seen, this has been my favorite, its really fucking awesome.
