Yeah I was thinking maybe this too. Should be pretty straight forward, but I'm going to do both sides for fear of the other CA being suspect. I think I may need a new rack too.

Did you notice any kind of a clunk noise or small thud when applying your brakes in the days before this? I've had a caliper bracket bolt come loose on me once and it made those noises, thankfully I caught it before it came out completely. I know a few other e30 guys that it's happened too as well.

No I don't believe I did. Brakes were fine. When I hit the bump it just sounded like I bottomed out (which hasn't happened since I did the coils) until I heard screeching tires and saw smoke.

I had one of mine come loose once. Scared the shit out of me. I was doing well over the posted speedlimit somewhere in Mexico earlier that day.

That suck man.. but good thing nothing else happened as said good shit at handling the car at that speed and come to a safe stop!!
