                      Challenge accepted. Pics coming...

I was leaving a friends house early in the morning, before her Father got up for work, and was unfamiliar with her neighborhood. Unfortunately there was a raised manhole sitting about two inches above the street, and being the tired person I was at 5 A.M., I let off the gas and drove straight over that shit by the time I realized what the brown spot on the road was.

Let me tell you, I surely woke up. My balls were in the back of my throat and my stomach turned at the sound of the dense blow and grinding noise that followed and echoed through the car as I coasted over what I realized was a manhole; this is an aluminum pan mind you.

I was even more amazed when my balls dropped as I laid in front of my car holding my cell phone as a source of light behind the valence to inspect the damage, all to find not a drip.

                        Curb.

Right after I told my wife, "You have to be careful not to pull to far forward. You DO NOT want to hit the oil *Bang* pan.."

Shook the car and nearly made both of us smack our heads on the steering wheel/dash.

Still haven't lived that one down as everytime, despite what car I'm in, she still says quietly "Mind the curb."
                        Need a part? PM me.

You are lucky. I know you are low, but I didn't know it was that low. Is the oil pan on the m62 lower than the m20?
