    New car, new member

    Hi there!
Beeing a long time lurker, I figured I'd step up say hello to the people on this great forum.
Eighteen year old man from Norway, the home of some great e30s. (have my english excused, not my strongest class...)
I've been raised in a Volkswagen-loving family, so my father just shook his head when his youngest son went on buying a beemer instead of an Audi or VW, but after a little while he admits that he loves both the looks and handling of this car :)

The car itself is a 1990 318IS. The reason for buying this instead of an 325i is because it's hard to find a rustfree 325i, and if you do, you certainly have to pay for it.
It's not too fast on the straights, but it handles like a dream and on the twisty roads around here, it's a great car. :)

Proper shots will come a day the roads are salt free.

    Greetings, Kristian

You live in Norway, so this will definitely turn out as a fine example. I'm not sure if you know, but there are a few guys from Norway which have unbelievable E30s. You should hook up with them if you need help, or inspiration.

Yep, especially Staales car is an inspiration..
There are some sick examples in this country, but the main problem with these cars are rust.. In Norway they salt the roads to death so it's really hard to find some good examples..

To prove this, here is underneath a 325ix I considered buying (until we got to look at it underneath....

                    Thanks! :)
Well, yellow front fog lights, maybe original chrome kidney-grille thingy (what do you call it?) and some nice summer wheels.
                    Thinking about BBS or staggered Borbet A 16s (7,5" + 9")..
Probably gonna end up with the Borbets, as they are cheapish over here. RS in 16" probably cost about half as much as the car itself..
Main goal in general would be to keep it clean and pretty much original, there is way to many examples of bad examples of these cars, I'm talking about plastic wide-body kits and such things, looks like shait... :)
