A recent acquisition along with my current project

Being a poor, fiscally responsible college student, you can not expect to see a thread full of engine swaps recaro's BBS wheels M-tech body work and other nice things. Though this is my e30 I love it and I just acquired another one to feed the need.

    Current project:

    1991 325i/A 2dr. Schwarz 191k miles rust-free California car , price $1500+500 shipping from CA, from ebay
-H&R sport , Bilstein sport , 15mm drop hats, Strut brace
    -MarkD chip 19# injectors
-A/C removed , other weight reduction
-Most all maintenance and tune up items performed and most wear items replaced.
-Goes hard, corners hard, but shifts it's own gears :\ (automatic)
-Lots of buffing, cleaning and other omitted items

    5spd swap coming soon

    Recent acquisition:

    1990 325i 4dr. Schwarz 216k miles rust-free local car, price: $2000 from ebay
    - Stock monster truck buick suspension, worn out
    - Rice pedals
    - Rice shifter
    - Rice pipe
    - Type-R red valve cover +15hp
    - Spare tire well converted to sub enclosure
    - Rebuilt engine (less than 2k miles?)
    - Manual trans +4.10 diff
    - Goes hard, corners like garbage, I shift it.
    - Poor quality repaint

The 1990 4dr is my winter beater that I can drift into a curb, drive through road salt and slush while dropping copious amounts of french fries and quarters covered in coca-cola in between the seats. It will take the punishment and the miles through the winter and in the spring or summer will provide me with what I need to make my 1991 2dr a 5 spd. The 1990 4dr will most likely recieve the automatic and be sold for cheap after im through with it.

I anticipate buying my wife a newer car when I graduate and will drive the camry she has now as my winter/run around car. But driving an e30 in the winter WOULD be much more fun. The 2dr needs the trans swap though, its deserving.

Ya, swap the trannies and keep the 2 pedal 4 door for winter sideways fun, sell the camry.

I am also a tax-payer, My wife and I work and I saved up for a while to buy my suspension, so no worries about me spending anyone elses money other than my own.

Definitely keep the 4 door around as a beater. Way cooler than a camry
