do any of you have a special lining in the trunk? I've seen one with storage compartments built into the underside of the trunklid before...never since.

The full M tech package included 15" euroweaves, suspension, leather consoles/ashtrays/handbrake, M tech cloth/leather seats or full leather, M Technic door sills and leather trunklid lining. It's not a special compartment or anything just a liner.

The point of this thread is for me to get to know the few owners of the Real Mtech2 cabby's...rumored to be less than 250 made in the US..don't get me wrong, coupes with mtech2 kits are TITS!

I just dont think there are that many rear tech2s left in the US, Since I got mine 5 years ago I have seen a total of 17 of them (for sale and at car shows)

Bimmerfest usually has at least 2 of them there. I have seen a few parted out between the boards and ebay. But at 20 years old, if we lost 2 a year to crashes we would be down 40 cars already. Im sure we have lost more than 2 a year.

If someone got with the guy from e30ic.com to get his vin list then run a car fax on each one we could see how many may actually be left.
