New Wheels

I ended up selling my RSs to a guy up in Toronto who has an E30 convertible.

The replacements have been in my plans for awhile now, and with the RSs gone, I managed to track down a set. Finding them in staggered/forged fitment ended up being a pretty tall order, but I got em.



I'm going to spend the winter refurbing them, I'll post some progress updates every now and again as I make headway. Throwing stars will be up for grabs if anyone wants them.

Edit: Is the covers below the stars the tease? I cannot remember the name but I saw a set on an e30 M3 in lime green.

i guess i didn't make that clear.

i sold my BBS wheels.

i bought the wheels in the second picture, but the throwing star covers will be for sale. i will be running those wheels, but with the turbine covers seen in the same picture.

So the center covers for the stars are being sold and the turbine covers are going onto the stars above them? Not sure how that will look. In for pictures :p

I know, just don't know if I have seen them on throwing stars. I have a Black M3 with green turbines in my folder of pictures.

you're confused about something.

the wheels themselves look like this:



the throwing star and turbine covers both bolt onto the wheels...the 2 styles of covers are interchangeable.

thanks for the good words, guys.

i know a lot of people would probably prefer the RSs, but i've been kind of obsessed with the turbines for awhile now. they are pretty much the coolest OEM wheels i've ever seen, in look and function. i'm really stoked to get these on the car, no regrets about ditching the RSs.

and yeah, they will be redone in the stock silver color, to whoever mentioned that.
