    Sorry to bother you guys with this, but before I take my gardening prunes to my engine bay, I wanted to double check once again that the orange electrical housings by the fender walls & strut housings (one on each side) are airbag sensors?

      yes. Whatever is in those orange boxes - tirggers the airbag to go off in the event of a collision.
      (they bug me too - planning on taking mine out as well)

                          1. You have a nice looking car and you're about to ruin it with ricer neon green hoses.
                          2. The "orange things" are accelerometers for the SRS. When they reach a certain acceleration/deceleration they trigger your airbag to deploy.
                          3. Don't do neon green hoses... thats so ghey
