Cool. Nice 6'er in the foreground of the second segment too.

              Autocrossing??

I gots to keep i lip on so it doesnt' become debris on the track. I broke more than a few clips take it off and test-fitting the IS lip.

Passing it was better. Too bad Dad didn't catch it with his camera.

Riding up on a WRX was cool too. As well as other cars.

I wasn't sure if body roll would have it be hit on the track, and maybe fall off. And I only had two off track occurances.

so which tires performed better on the track? es100s or azenis? Those are two of the top cheap autocross tires, it'd be interesting to see how they hold up in comparison to each other at events with speed

you're still upset the south lost. get over it you southern belle.

driving fast and passing WRXs = not addicting.
finding more speed from better lines is. I am looking forward to getting out there again in June hopefully, and maybe getting to hang out at the THR tent a bit and meet Jon.

Azenis were awesome. Granted, I haven't used any others. But they were very very nice. Rob loved his 225s a lot, and they had a lot more stick than mine, but that's not saying much.

I might use the 205 ES100s on my Cs as they wear down, but don't want to ruin them now. Should be a fair comparison with the 205 Azenis that just arrived.

Azenis were mentioned as a great budget sticky track tire in SCC's "Make it stick" article recently. Yeah, I'd love to throw down for like Toyos or something, but not now. Who cares. Cheap owns.

btw, ride in instructors Si taught me two things:
                            VTEC really does ROAAAAR!
And the new RT615's kick ass. I was suprised by how well they held to the track.

The es100's handled well, but they arent near a true track tire. However, they stick very well for a street tire. Very predictable. Keep them at 38-40 cold though, once you start building speed, you can feel the tires squirming.
Just make sure you get them in man sizes (>225) and you will be fine.
