    thanks guys...im pretty sure IT IS a 91 vert but the chrome bumpers may throw you off.. supposedly it was made just before the plastics came on every e30. I won't put my life on it, but i'd have to look into it to know for sure. As of now I'm happy...car pulls hard.

        convertibles had metal bumpers through '91. Cars sold as MY 1992 to MY 1994 when the last ones were sold had plastic bumpers.

            so it is confirmed...there is nothing wrong with my car having chrome bumpers and being 91 right?
