So I tried to take the e30 out in the snow...

And I made it four feet. I was planning on moving it out of the garage to take a few pics in the snow but instead I just slid off the side of my driveway, after moving it a bit I gave up. We got 6" of snow in metro ATL last night, which is the most we've had in over a decade. e30 + es100 + ice/snow =

Haha... had enough fun in the e30 a month back when it iced up and I slid across a bridge. Mine's safely tucked away in the garage till this crap melts.

Mine was tucked away in the garage too until my failed photo op.. Now it'll have to sit outside in the freezing rain all night. BTW, I see your car all the time I think. If it is you then we live minutes from eachother. I live off of Villa Rica rd./casteel

Too funny, I actually did similar in my FJ40 that was locked on both ends and on 35s, the driveway is treacherous! There's a funny thread on bfc about the snow in ATL, looks like the city has been brought to it's knees, reminds me of snowstorms in Portland.

That said, I'd rather risk my car losing it's life to a freak run-in with a pole or car on a bad road than the salt we have here, dammit!

I spent most of 09' replacing the floors and firewall on my E30. It makes my stomach churn to see E30s in the snow but I guess as long as they aren't on the road with the salt and chemicals it wont hurt. We have 14" here and we're getting another foot tomorrow.

It must be hectic for everyone driving in the snow by you. I bet a lot of people are locking up their brakes and sliding down hills like those bridgestone commercials.
