I just got back from Mid-Ohio today. Got to see my buddies-buddy's e30 m3. First one ever made, previously owned and tracked by BMW. He paid upper $20k for bragging rights on the car. Beautiful car.

i think if it really is 00001 then it should be in some sort of museum and bmw shouldnt/wouldnt have sold it. It really shouldnt have a bashed up quarter panel either

Is it really #1 worldwide or #1 for the states? I have a hard time believing that BMW would let #1 go and go for 20k (not very high for a prepped M3).

yeah, thats what i was thinkin. it looks like a hella sweet car, but I seriously doubt that BMW let # 001 go for under 30k. Also, why the hell would you paint #001 with some custom color scheme? :loco: If BMW is letting cars go for that price - i'll sell everything i own and buy their ex-schnitzer display car from mobile tradition for 35k. Regardless - very nice car.
