Bay Area E30S52: No More Slush Box + More Horsepower

Is the S52 running yet in your E30? I have a M50NV swapped e30 and am thinking of swapping to a S5X engine but am not sure if it will be worth it.

I'm surprised I haven't seen you driving around since I live in the East Bay too and have a white 4 door that is kind of similar to yours.

So I was buttoning up all the plugs in the harness and i couldn't for the life of me find the plug for the cam sensor.... DUH, it was still OBD2. $80 later and 1.5 hours of my life I can't take back from traffic. I am ready to put in the fuel lines if I can figure that out (hahaha) and the intake manifold... Yeay, almost there.

OH yeah, I forgot the most important and maybe the most expensive part of the build is yet to happen... the exhaust... I need the downpipe from an E36. Halp!!!

Hey Christian,

For the black plastic pieces like the IS lip, what SEM product did you use?

sem trim paint



Fiddled with the engine harness today. Also refreshed the pink injector, installed the heater hoses.
Need to get fuel lines and hook them up.
Hook up brake fluid reservoir.
Need coolant temp sensor. (Blue top)
Need exhaust badly. I need the OBD 1 down pipe only, anyone?
