Went for a canyon cruise....took some pics

I know I just posted up some pics of the e30 in Laguna...but I went for a canyon cruise today and couldnt resist. Speed limit 35 mph...average speed ~58 mph. Enjoy. :D

This corner is banked sooo perfectly...that one was fun

And there were plenty of these guys....I had to be careful today.

Tight!!! That corner does look perfect. I'm sure you'll be hittin' that road up after the M50 swap. 8) Just be careful. No one wants to see you get hurt or another E30 go to the boneyard.

Tried to take the new suspension and tires out on Angeles Crest the other night, but the ol' five-oh had different ideas about that - nailed the guy right behind me at the beginning, and I thought it prudent to exit the area and come back another day.

well as for me, i'm staying away from the santa monica mountains and angeles crest mountains because:
                    1) kinda too wide for my tastes, i prefer the low speed tech turns
                    2) i read a couple of articles where it says that cops are really gonna start cracking down on those two areas, if youw ant them i'd be happy to email them to you.

and about the real canyon comment, i'm sorry, i was being a jackass for a good 30 seconds. In a humble and polite manner, i'd introduce you to Turnbull Canyon out in Hacienda Heights, it's close to about 2.5 miles long but it'll take a lil while to get through because it's mostly hairpins and switchbacks. also check out Glendora Mountain road and Azusa Canyon road, but those two are still closed for the time being, both very technical and loads more difficult than tunas, latigo, angeles etc etc.

I'v been to Glendora...some of those guys are insane. And actually, where I was running there is one section of road that if you take it any faster than about 40 mph you will pee yourself. It's a damn scary road and veeery technical. I think you would enjoy that one. We should meet up sometime and go check out each other's spots.

beautiful pics! I have to wonder though, how can a public road have "technical" turns?
