    New to bmw's

    Hi guys,1st post but I've been lurking and investigating bmw's for awhile and finally picked up my 1st one.It s nice clean '91 325is with an S52 OBD1 swap,coilovers all around(to be removed and sold,this is to be a summer backroad car and I already have a MUCH faster track only car so...)and some other little things.
    It has what seems to be the common old bmw issues but I'll have them sorted by spring for its maiden voyage.

    Here's the car as of the other day when I brought it home,





    Thanks for looking,I'll be asking for your advice once I dive in to getting it ready.

                  Thanks,I'm very much looking forward to spending the summer with it.:)

                  Yes I designed and built the open wheel car for autox,time attack and and lapping days.It weighs under 900lbs and is powered right now by a 150hp(boost will be added after this season and should make about 230hp with a low boost setting) yamaha R1 motocycle engine,it goes surprisingly well.Very substancial wings are being designed and built right now.
                  The car in action on its very 1st test drive at a local kart track,the car made two consecutive laps prior to the one filmed and thats the extent of the driving I and the car had together.It worked pretty well for a baseline set-up but will be much improved for this coming summer.

                                              It did seem like it was selling for a very good price for a car with this much work/parts into it... I was tempted to look at it but decided not to.
