Oh nice, I will have to try that. They are definitely shot. and if they don't slam it enough I will just have to start cutting coils :)

Oh man, so much e21 content, I'm not sure if I can control myself. I can't wait to see more.

that is always an option, that way you'll also have an alternative for when you decide the the lowering springs didn't lower it enough. ;)

            *SUNDAY UPDATE*

So I spent a lazy sunday puttering in the shop, gave the car a tune up and worked on the front end a bit.

Did the usual plugs/cap/rotor treatment, along with an air filter. Also replaced the torn intake boot, lucky for me I had several spares haha

            Spark plugs were haggard

Then I got the sprt valence mounted up. Got her screwed down and love the way it looks.
Looked around for something to make a "bumper" out of and pried the rubber strip of the big diving board bumper. Cut it into 3 pieces with the sawzall, sectioned a couple inches out, found some misc. screws from the door cards of an E28 and bolted her up. Then I stuck a euro plate over top of it all and sat back to admire my work.

I absolutely love it. Ghetto fab to the max, and it doesn't look half bad IMO

Next up, suspension and roof rack

                          Another small (but successful) update!

I finally did work and installed the sweet Ansa exhaust system that came off one of the parts cars. It isn't much louder than stock, until high in the rev range, but it beats the old rotted muffler!

Gack. Old one came out in pieces

Also, installed the polished valve cover I had. Traded a guy some parts for the polish work. It makes the rest of my bay look like doody lol

                          The goods:

                          After:

I still haven't messed with the suspension yet, I am too damn lazy to screw around with all the ball joints :(

And here is a parting shot of the cars currently in my stable

That's awesome man, love threads like this, but I woulda dropped everything and built up that henna the second I brought it home. That things begging to be cleaned up! You should sell the black one and restore the henna, no question, in my irrelevant opinion ;)

WHERE did you get that sticker?! I absolutely need one for my e12 project.

I love e21's, we've had a couple in the family; I owned an AW 320is, slowest car ever, but tonnes of fun. Yours is looking great! Keep it up.
