You got a good one, man. Swap to baller wheels and plastics then turbo and ultimate e30.
For all things 24v, check out Markert Motorworks!

Such a beaut, take care of this car. Or god will smite you.

What would you like to know? =D

99 ls1 with 25k miles + basic bolt ons (full open exhaust/intake), couple aesthetic mods, and basic suspension upgrades!

Basically the swap entails finding a reputable source for an entirely new subframe/all hardware necessary to connect the drivetrain (MUCH easier said than done), full rewire to adapt the motor/trans with the car, redone fuel system, elimination or bypassing of old sensors/relays that are prone to failure, imagining and applying a new cooling system, bashing in areas of the firewall with brute force, adapting the slave cylinder, and then hoping everything stays together :)

Overall it was a tedious game of waiting for parts, having things not fit all that well and subsequently modifying them to fit, and praying it all came together in the end. It sucked.

That being said it was amazing in the end.

Damn, cant believe this thing is out in Chicago now! I have to see it sometime. You should bring it out to one of the Euroteknik meets sometime when it gets warmer out.

I wish. I saw it AFTER he had started driving here. Had I known about it before I would have tried to coerce it out of him :P

Absolutely. I just have no idea where or when meets take place, or even where to find out about them :) The regional midwest forum seems a little slow. Any links or places I should check?
