Hahaha yeah, I think Meguiar's makes something for this. ;)

I WAS both feet in, otherwise it would've been head-on... and I could've broken my foot when the LF wheel came into the tub

No sympathy for you... you wreck your car and you still get not one but TWO hot ass chicks.

        screw you buddy ;)

Edit: I've been staring at that second shot and man do those legs go all the way up. I'd wreck an E30 a week to get that kind of support

yeah I was about to express my sympathy too until I saw those legs :D

Fair bit of damage, glad you weren't hurt. Wasn't there something about bronzits getting totalled anyway? like there's a hex on that particular colour?

OUCH Jon. How did it happen?

Are you gonna recover and get another shell and move on? Or what are your plans now?

I was in a weird third gear right hander onto the straight that goes under the bridge. I tossed the car in, preparing to 4-wheel-drift out to the left hand curb, as I had done the lap before. The ass end came out as normal, I started to slide, and the car suddenly went straight. Broadside into the concrete wall.

By the angle of the left front wheel (and how it got pushed up into the floorboard) I presume that the left side tie rod snapped. Considering we were turning right at the time, how else would the left front wheel have been at the angle in the pics above? Metal fatigue, probably. They were new last year... Meyle units in a blue box... not cheap stuff but not from the dealer either.

Moving on. Probably E36 M3 or older 911. The E30 is mostly parted-out already, so at least I'll get some money back after all. ;)

                    Shit happens,

dude im sorry but as VP of R3v awards you do not qualify to of officially R3v-ed your car.

This happend on a track in proper conditions if you were ripping it in a school zone and happend to hit a school bus or something you would of gotten the R3v title.

I sure you will build stronger and better its a shame this happend in the begining of summer...when the track season starts......Good Luck dude.

LOL dammit! Kick me when I'm down why don't ya! :D

Actually the funniest shit of all... somebody backed a red 944 into the other side of the car while it was sitting there waiting to be towed, and put a big ass dent in the OTHER rear quarter. "Now it matches the other side" he says to me. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry ;)

Awww, we gonna miss you. don't be a stranger. But an E36 M3 is a big grown up version of the E30, IMO. Good luck.

completely parted? I need decorations for my place, and also have a bent rim fetish......
