They arent reflectors. They are side-repeaters that signal your intent to turn just as the front and rear blinkers do. They blink along with the front and rear turn signals.

i think several euro markets got them stock.

If memory serves correct, pretty much all markets but the U.S. (and markets that got U.S. version cars) had side-repeaters.
