Do some research, and get as much as you can.
318is' are a lot more desirable than any of the 325's right now, I shouldn't have a problem finding enough examples to let them know what it's really worth I don't think?

Nope, I never had fogs in this car, PO left the fog ducts in and it looked terrible, so I took them out - as you can see, looks much better!

EDIT: Just saw your craigslist ad for the car. So sad.
thx for the reminder, I gotta pull that ad down - I'm still getting flooded with offers!

Just kidding(sort of). It's sad to see another Alpine 318is die.
If it's totaled, I'm buying it back because there's a lot of parts I and the rest of the local e30 boys want off of it, right now the gearbox, interior and plastic bumper swap parts are spoken for!

sorry about your car! your insurance co. may total it just in cosmetic damage but the frame rails might not be bent. when my insurance co. totaled mine, it was bc of cosmetic damage on the front. I had them check the frame. said it was within spec so I bought it back for $300 and fixed it with the remaining 2k after my deductible. whats the specs on the wheels?

not sure on the wheels other than that they're 16's - 205/55/16 tires

                Are those rim Borbets?
They look like my rims on my car that I haven't exactly been able to identify.
they say mbmotorsports or something on the caps.

Sport Edition F5's, I picked them as winter wheels - not a huge fan, but they look reasonably OEM.

the lip on yours is bigger than mine, but they're VERY close - those are definitely by MB Motorsports, one of their discontinued wheels from the late 90's

Sweet just havent been able to find any other wheels like these by MB for sale!
They arent the worst looking and they are fairly light so they will do for now!

If there is no frame damage, you can still find someone who would want to buy it. It's only a few parts that the junk yard can't fix. Just takes time to look for one though LOL. Sorry for your lost.
WTB E30. Right now $1500+ Vert or 4 door only.

Price range will increase every month.

too slow for frame damage, I want to get it verified though. I listed it up for sale as-is, I really want a red one!

not really. the rear fender is fubar'd and that cant be replaced easily. not to mention there are probably body ripples along the roof, tail light panel, or panel under the windshield. fixed by a body shop, this car is 'totalled'.

so sorry to see this happen! hope you can sell it to regain some of the loss.

You would be surprised how little it takes to mess up the front rail of an E30. Way back when with my first e30, I tried to slide the rear in a wet parking lot, tagged a light pole at less then 20mph on the passenger front corner. Didn't look so bad from the outside untill I pulled off the fender and found a nice crease. Also had a small ripple above where the passenger side head would sit and the pass door wouldn't open.

Check it out closely before you say no frame damage. It is definitely possible to get luck and get away with nothing but, it doesn't take much.
