    Still 4.10 though?

On my auto I know the previous owner swapped the Dif... But he was a moron and didn't even know what ratio it was.

Still need to throw it up on the lift to see how many rev's the drive shaft makes per 1 rear wheel rotation. I know it is an LSD though.... So I'm assuming he swapped it with a 3.73 from a IS car.

+1 Love the way it holds the 24v power. I blew the small case 4.10 out with the m20, this thing has a shit load of torque compared to it. No need to go faster than 145, i hit limiter in 5th there.

Ill have to post some more vids of the 4.10 laying down rubber in some better situations

      coming soon haha

Not necessarily. Mine was an auto 325i with a limited slip diff. It was an option apparently (which it is no longer).

yes yes it was an option. But most people didn't opt for that option.

                Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!

Hey guys, can an e30 325ix 3.91 viscous lsd be used for 24v?
I have a 3.73 open, have been looking for 3.91 for a long time and there's not much to choose from. This ix one just popped up.

I don't see why not. IIRC the rear ends are identical. Why do you want a viscous on a RWD though?

It's the only 3.91 curently available.
Is there a reason not to go viscous for track use?

They wear out fast and are $$$ to repair.
