    This isnt my car. But I did take a look of a stock e46 dash and it looks like the person took about an inch off each side.

        That's how the standard SMG brake pedal is in the E46's.

          Edit: I remember some guy on here doing an entire e46 330i swap into an e30, right down to the trunk release, etc. Can't find the thread though. Love the idea.

                    Sorry, I'm failing to see a difference. It's the brake pedal of a three pedal car, exactly as pictured above, and exactly as it was in my E46. If you're referring to the spacing i'm sure that has to do with the space allowance in the E30 footwell.

                        I think it's pretty clear that we're indeed talking about the spacing of the pedal, and not the fact that the E46 SMG uses a "3 pedal" brake pedal. Why else would NY2E30 have mentioned it in the first place?
