Its possible, stupid but entirely possible. My H&r rear springs were chopped for awhile, very stiff until the shocks blew. Since been replaced with jom coils which will probably last a year

There is a distributor.. I couldn't find anyway to adjust it, so I will have to adjust the timing.. They are chopped, hence the reason I need to replace them all, not sure what to do yet since I don't have any money.. The tires and suspension won't last long and the power steering rack is all messed up since the car is too low. We'll see what happens..

I wish I had found a black one!

The rear looks like there are no springs!

              New pics...

So after everything the car is back to stock height, got all new tires and now has a 3.73 LSD. Not exactly what I wanted, but should be fairly reliable for a while... I attached some new pics: (I know my iphone camera sucks)

Decided to finally start work on changing out the timing belt, Water pump, thermostat, Water temp sensor. I pulled the thermostat housing to find an empty thermostat.. Do you think this might have created some problems? I was getting a temp on the gauges but it was usually in between the blue and 1/4 mark, sometimes it would go higher. When I drained the coolant I found it to be mostly (95%) water. The timing belt was old and cracking. I only worked on it for just under 2 hours today and got everything off, made sure TDC was already lined up. I'm going to wake up early tomorrow and clean up everything and put it all back together..

So Yeah since the next day after I made my last post I have been having some issues. I broke a bolt when replacing the water pump. So I decided to drill it out with an ez-out and it broke off. So I went and got a new one and took and angle grinder to the end of the bolt to make it smooth again. Since then I haven't been able to get a new ez-out in to the bolt. (been 3 days of drilling it) I am thinking about pushing it down the street to an auto shop and see what they can do tomorrow... I need my car up for bimmerfest..

Now the car is in a machine shop since the auto repair places couldn't get it out.. We'll see what happens tomorrow. What's going to be interesting is how I am going to pay for it, since I don't have money..
