How much is that in american horsepower. Most guys running standalone and holsets have to run 12psi to get 300whp.

There is a pretty good write up on e30tech on how to adjust your AFM for a turbo setup. That factory instake boot won't hold much more than 8psi with out bursting. Some guys like to use zip ties and electrical tape. Others just upgrade to a silicone intake boot or make an aluminum one if they have tig skills.

Haha, thats 298 american horse power.

After 3 months and one headgasket finally a dynorun.

^^ that is my friends e30, this was done about 4 years ago. Exact same setup as my car, he is actually running 1psi less then me during those runs. We based my build off of his, and learnt from his mistakes :)

Ya i have heard about using zip ties too, and have been thinking about upgrading the boot to aluminum. Any idea where this thread is for adjusting the AFM?!!!

The promised vids are delayed. Ran into some issues with the law last year, and my insurance rate has suffered dearly. Last August I had to pack up the BMW and drive the 115hp VW Jetta i have (I know you jealous) to keep me out of trouble, its a long story.

But! I tossed a new turbo in it, and its running much better, and a new race track is opening up in may! So if things go as planned, you will get a much better video, done on the track.

                My apologies.

Well, i sold her for a healthy 8 grand. Sorry to those who were excepting videos and such, but school and other bills need to be paid for, and having only a student income caught up to me :(

Thank you all for advice over the years! I will check in from time to time to see whats new in the e30 world.

                  and yes......I will be back.

I ended up buying this car from Lrutts for my brother and the eBay parts definetly lasted- Really clean build which contributed to the Monster this car was!. The crank shaft went on it recently and it is now going to be returned to stock as I have my e36 m3 parts to pay and don't feel like dumping too much money in the E30 YET. not to mention cant drive two bimmers at once lol
