No, but it sure as hell incorporates it. My ex was a gd, and symmetry was everywhere with her. It's insane. It makes sense to see it, if not necessarily use it all the time as a gd.Originally posted by arsevaderGraphic design is certainly not about symmetry.Originally posted by Eurospeed88I've always thought E30's looked GREAT with 6-spoke wheels. It's a more symmetrical design, that goes much better with the squared lines of the E30. But I'm a graphic designer at heart, so I'm constantly drawn to aesthetics and symmetry.Comment

This is bordering on off-topic but hell what else is new. Nice wheels by the way. ;)Originally posted by BeemerfanatikNo, but it sure as hell incorporates it. My ex was a gd, and symmetry was everywhere with her. It's insane. It makes sense to see it, if not necessarily use it all the time as a gd.
One of the tennants of good design and art in general is the 'golden rule' which has to do with the division of space into 3rds.

I have seen your screenname pop up for years anytime theres a combination of low car+rims, but please BUY A FREAKING DIGITAL CAMERA.Originally posted by gsbadbmr
Haha! I didn't like my old wheels either. My new 19" deep dish gunmetal wheels with a machined dish/lip (which VERY few people have seen) look absolutely INSANE....If i ever buy a good digi cam i will send you a pic ;)

I've seen like 2 crappy pics of your car taken from horrible angles. I'm a ricer and I will get 18's, and would love to see good pics of your car.

Don't you guys care at all that you're running too little rubber to protect the expensive 17+ rims? Or do you run larger rubber and have your speedo off and run the risk of clearance issues?Originally posted by 808BMWI have seen your screenname pop up for years anytime theres a combination of low car+rims, but please BUY A FREAKING DIGITAL CAMERA.Originally posted by gsbadbmr

I'm not a closeminded asshole, but this is clear cut - the car is designed for a certain size wheel. The larger the wheel, the smaller the sidewall has to be to correct the outer diameter of the wheel. The thinner the sidewall, the better the chances that you'll bend the shit out of your rims.
I would hate to spend a grand or two on rims and tires and bend one in the first month (or year even) because it didn't suit my car.Comment

Jesus, 215/35? What's that, like 75 mm? I dunno man, that just doesn't seem like a whole lot of rubber. Maybe it's the NE with its shit ass roads, but I'd never sport less than a 50 series. It's not about driving carefully - there are some potholes you can't avoid (highway, etc)Originally posted by 808BMW215/35-18 Is the same as stock. I have MANY friends who have run 18's with the same size tire for years, and none of them have bent a rim yet.
I drive carefully enough to not worry about less sidewall protection.Comment

well he lives in hawaii where there are only like 10 miles worth of roads so they are really well taken care of. they also have one of the nicest interstate roads in the nation.. :rofl:Originally posted by BeemerfanatikJesus, 215/35? Nice. We get nothing but shit up here. Then again, it doesn't cost me $45 to get a pair of door lock pins shipped to me ;)Originally posted by 808BMWWell theres more than 10 miles worth of roads, and they are actually horrible :P But yeah our interstate rocks :POriginally posted by nandowell he lives in hawaii where there are only like 10 miles worth of roads so they are really well taken care of. they also have one of the nicest interstate roads in the nation.. :rofl:Comment

(by the way, you might want to reword that statement. It could be misconstrued as you not being into chiks......... although women have a'holes too, I guess....... nevermind. ;) )
My
opinion........ liked the throwing stars much better, but I'm not a fan of black wheels. I thought your car was one of the hottest on the board when I joined 'cause it had that precision engineered, European look to it. Now it looks like your heart is in Asia.
