I think that it rides so good as it is, and handles sporty enough for me. Plus I have an '04 Mach1 that most of my play money goes to, so this is my daily.

This is encouragement enough not to lower your car.

= Plenty of reason to lower the car and not worry about the Achilles tendon of M20s. Car looks great and I'm sure it makes a great daily as is.

i'm trying to figure out ways to lower my car more. i avoid all speed bumps and when i do have to go over them, i hope i don't get stuck. my girl loves it, not. i love the lowww.

also i have a skid plate, but jeez not that meaty. i might have to look into that one above my post.

Just a quick update. Saw some pics where people had resprayed over the old rock guard. Picked up some flat black Duplicolor and did it myself. Have to say that it makes the car look a lot better overall. I also picked up some local weaves that I threw on. Now my next step is to find a decent pair of sport front seats and drive it for a while!

Did you just spray directly over it? Or did you prep it beforehand? It looks pretty good and I want to do it to my car.

I used a 3m medium sanding pad, probably the same as a scotchbrite pad. Just roughed it up a little, then went over it with a towel and some good ole fashioned windex. Let it dry, taped it off, and went to town for one light and 2 heavy coats.

Ha ha, you know how it is. Can't have extra parts laying around too long.

Well it's been a hot minute since I've dropped in on my own thread. Haven't done much, but fixed the mess under the intake and dropped in a new fuel pump. I also was not only able to get some sport seats, but nice leather ones. She's coming together slowly but surely.

Fantastic seats! I've been looking for a nice set of front vinyl sport seats too but its almost impossible to find given the age of the car. Congrats!
